50 Acts From the Heart

Media Students Create Anniversary Video For Windsor Police

June 7, 2017

Our ’50 Acts from the Heart’ continue here at St. Clair College as we celebrate 50 years in the community.

Our latest act is a very unique one, coming courtesy of our students at the MediaPlex.

To help the Windsor Police Service celebrate its 150th anniversary, students David Lafreniere and Jeremy James spend a week shooting more than 30 hours of video at a number of police events.

The students spend a month editing the footage down to a 20 minute documentary titled ‘Celebrate Honour in Service’.

“After watching this, the viewer will feel like they were actually there celebrating this milestone with us,” said Windsor Police Sergeant Steve, adding, “These students went above and beyond all expectations.”

James and Lafreniere’s work can be viewed on the Windsor Police Service YouTube page by clicking HERE.
