What is a "liberal arts" education? What does it mean to "think like a scientist" or to cultivate a "professional" presence in the world? What distinguishes a great student from a good one? What are we even doing here?! This course will start by exploring the purpose and the value of our Liberal Arts program, and how these align with the students' personal goals. With this big picture in mind, students will develop the skills, knowledge, mindset, and habits that will help them succeed in college and, more importantly, in their lives beyond college.
