Interlibrary Loan Guidelines
Purpose:
This free service is available to St. Clair College students, faculty and staff to borrow materials from other Ontario Community College Libraries. In meeting patron needs, our library will exhaust local holdings before requesting items for interlibrary loan. St. Clair College library will not infringe on their own or another institution's licensing agreements or defy Copyright Law.

Loan Period:
Local requests will be governed by the loan periods of the other institution. Materials sent from St. Clair College will have a four week loan period. Depending on availability, it may take a few days or weeks for an item to arrive. Students or staff will be notified by phone or e-mail when the material arrives from another college. Renewals must be requested before the due date.
Loan Restrictions:
- Unique, newly acquired or high demand items
- Course reserve
- Audiovisual materials (some exceptions may apply)
