St. Clair College team competed in the 19th annual Scotiabank Vanier National Marketing Case Competition | St. Clair College

This past weekend, the St. Clair College team competed in the 19th annual Scotiabank Vanier National Marketing Case Competition in Montreal, QC. The team was made up of Business Administration - Marketing students; Ellie Hanna, Taha Lababidi and Cameron Rudy, along with the team alternates; Mimi Nguyen and Roman Kovalev and their faculty coaches; Justina Ciarlariello and David Garant.

The students worked very hard to prepare in the weeks leading up to the competition. The day of the competition they were given a comprehensive case study and given 3-hours to produce a strategic marketing response. The students then had 20 minutes to present their response to a panel of judges, made up of of invited experts from the business, industry, and education sectors.

The St. Clair Vanier team was highly praised by the judges for their innovative and strategic response to the case study which resulted in a 3rd place win in their division against the following national teams:

  • College of the North Atlantic (NL)
  • Ahuntsic (QC)
  • Marionopolis (QC)
  • Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (AB)
  • Nova Scotia Community College (NS)
  • AndrĂ©-Grasset (QC)
