Athletics suspended for fall
St. Clair College’s varsity schedule for the 2020 fall season has been suspended, following an announcement Monday by the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association in consultation with its member institutions.
The sports impacted by this decision include baseball, softball, soccer, golf and cross-country running.
Fall start date set for Sept. 21
St. Clair College will delay the start of its fall semester by two weeks, with classes commencing Monday, Sept. 21 and running for 13 weeks.
The move allows staff enough time to prepare for the possibility of a blended delivery system of both online and in-person classes and labs, according to Waseem Habash, Vice President, Academic.
